Success Story

Their matchmaker met Allen late last year at our shul. He had flown to Chicago for a friend's wedding, but when his flight was canceled, he arrived a day late and ended up joining the Sheva Brachos and spending Shabbos with our community. A few weeks later, their matchmaker had an idea for someone local, so he came back to Chicago and stayed with our family for Shabbos. They immediately connected with him. He was wonderful with our children, and we all enjoyed a truly special Shabbos together. Although that match didn't work out, we encouraged Allen to join SawYouAtSinai. He was hesitant at first because he had previously been on the site without success, but we assured him that we would do our best to help him. Little did we know how literally that promise would come true! Just a few months later, he met Karen. We remember Allen telling us that Karen's family had immigrated from the same region as his parents. When he met her family, he said he felt like he was with his own family. We knew that was something very special. We are so excited that everything came together so quickly and so beautifully. Mazal tov to Allen and Karen! We wish them a lifetime of happiness, health, and bracha together.
